On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45-12:40 "The Little Knitters" meet in my class at Woodcreek Magnet School. We have lunch together then we knit. The group first consisted of five, Fifth grade girls yet has grown to 12+ girls. During the time we chat, knit and work on problem-solving techniques. "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," is one of our key mottos.
My second goal is for each girl to teach someone else how to knit.
Since its formation on November 29, 2007 “The Little Knitters” has grown to 10-12 girls. (According to several boys, I need to add a group for them!)
